Odin's sitting on the patio watching ... who knows what he's watching? Dogz is soooo kewl. What I saw with Odin on the patio as my coffee brewed was a pewping robin. Not a good band name.
Better than the real band name I was subjected to as a teenager attending the Outward Bound camp in Ely, MN. The final night after our 30 days of wilderness back at base camp featured live music from a local band. Remember, this is outside of Ely, MN, which itself is a long way from anywhere. And there's about 120 teenage boys (the next year, they went coed). The band name?

Red Neck and the Red Rectums

I kid you not.

They were pretty good, but I'm guessing they must have been the only choice.

Good thing Deliverance hadn't been made yet.

I've been to Ely. It was a great place to canoe and fish. Big mosquitoes and horseflies which I can no longer tolerate.

It's red for me today, as in yes it has come time to take care of my roots :) I've got this all figured out so the next henna day is two weeks before I fly to Chicago. This will be my first flight on a Bombardier CRJ-900. Has the looks of an little MD-80!

The CRJ aircraft are really nice, well designed.

Bombardier had a great design team. Airbus bought a majority stake in the CSeries and called it the A220. A lot of airlines are waiting in line to buy them. Both airlines and passengers love them. Orders keep growing and Airbus is laughing all the way to the bank. Bombardier sold the Dash 8 commuter to de Havilland and now their business is booming. Bombardier has cut production of Learjets and wants to sell that as well. Management are idiots.

Being in the red didn't turn out well for them. Henna is less complicated.

Rode the scooter about 80 miles this morning. Went to the coffee shop and ran into a guy I met there are few years ago. Hadn't seem him in several months. I think our timing on Sun mornings got out of synch. He's doing good and he's a talker!

Watched the last half of the Indy 500. No preference on drivers but I enjoy watching. Helio Castroneves won his fourth Indy. The announcers were making a big deal out of him being 46 and other drivers being so much younger like he's about to die because of being 46. "How is he able to compete against much younger drivers?" "How does his age affect his driving ability?" "Do you think he will be able to drive much longer?" Geez...

Left the TV on the same channel then golf came on. We'll there's a nail biter to follow up Indy! :hyper:

Good one! But I think golf can beat our news on a long weekend. At least the golf shots are different rather than the same ones over and over again!

Sitting here in limbo

and first listened to The Harder They Come in a university poetry class. Not long after, saw Desmond Dekker at the Melkweg :woot:  Spent a lot of time grooving to that LP
but not lately.

Henna's done, laundry's going, house is quiet
