There's something about learning from history


One would think. I read a history of WWI a few years back. When the author was talking about the ethnic conflicts between Austria-Hungary, Germany, Serbia, Bosnia, and Herzegovina it was like reading about the same stuff over there in the '90s. Apparently nothing was learned.
 
Without Desmond, there wouldn't have been Bob Marley. He opened up the UK to reggae. This song was produced in Jamaica and hit the UK pop charts, then the world. Everyone was kind of stunned by the success. Like the British invasion, they went looking for other artists in Jamaica.




His most well known song is Israelites. Makes you want to tap your foot.

Speaking of Marley, No Treble had a very tasty rendition of "Three Little Birds" by Jacob Collier.
