I see the posted road speed limit as a suggestion. Recipes are the same way, I don't cook by following strict rules, it's simply a guide. Taste determines what's in the recipe. Bread is different although there is some latitude based on the feel of the dough. The flour and humidity play a roll.
It's my fault; I misslepped it. It should be spelled "cockadoodie." It's from Stephen King's book, "Misery." The wackadoodle lady in there doesn't like swearing, so she says "cockadoodie" instead of naughty words.An even bigger question is What's a cockadoody oven? If it's for cooking a cockadoody, then what's a cockadoody? Or is cockadoody a colloquial expression that I have no idea of what it means? And the biggest question - Do I even care?
I think I last touched a knob on my bass sometime in 2018. But I might be off by a couple years either way.

Hatch chili cheese was not in stock today. Jalapeno-cayenne cheese was, and took a pass. Swing through to the chemist to pick up one prescription, swing back later to refill an expired prescription. The lapse was because my doctor's refill request following my appointment a couple weeks ago arrived too soon to be filled. Two different prescription orders for the same medication. What a lovely day it is.

Have seen the movie. Excellent but the hobble scene about made me come out of my chair. When the movie is on, I will not watch that scene again. The Family Guy parody was good, too. lol. We both love Kathy Bates! She was great in Misery and Dolores Claiborne.
We've both read a lot of Stephen King but I haven't read that one. The Stand is both of our favorites - book and movie.
If you like Hatch green chiles, go to San Antonio, NM to the Owl Bar and order the green chile cheeseburger. I stopped there on Epic Journey 2012 on a friend's recommendation. I liked it! My eyelids were sweating! Stopped again in 2013 on our road trip to Yellowstone. Mrs GT's eyes were watering and I'd like to say they were tears of joy.
Hm I didn't think Dead and Co and their merry caravan of pranksters was due in town for another month or so.
ETA: though I did see a note that Bob and the Wolves are gonna be at Red Rocks real soon, so seems like the network is getting powered up for an awesome summer run.

New cheese #2 - Irish cheddar. Also nummy! You can tell it's a cheddar but it's completely different than any other I've had. Softer and crumbly, less sharp. Having it with summer sausage.
There's a white Canadian Cheddar that is great with cheese and tomatoes on toast as well as a variety of other combinations. Our local Safeway has it.
Whoa, was that a reference to bass playing? Smooooooth!
