Howdy hi
yes Monday was my followup appointment for the subtalar fusion procedure I had so much fun with. Given all the doctors I've seen of late, this visit was not particularly high on a personal worries list. Orthopedic surgeons are now out of rotation. We're done, the surgery is a qualified sucess, blah blah blah
That works for me. Far as I can discern, everyone's pleased when a medical procedure works out satisfactorily.
So Sunday was the monthly Ask Ari Zoom with the cohort breakout rooms. When all this malarkey was in full bloom, I notified the head coach etc. and asked for a substitute coach in my absence. From the moment of hospital admission at 11:11 am (yes, I looked), it is entirely unclear how long I'll be out of commission.
What I know at the time is I'm in Chicago in a few days and I'm busting out of here.
And show up for the cohort breakouts, because. Made sure my coach, the head coach &c were properly informed of my verticality when I returned from Chicago.
All the MTftBP summer cohort students are on-screen, and the head coach asks how I am.
It was the salmon mousse, I reply, and laugh
