I put english muffin dough on top of chicken pie instead of pie dough. Makes a crispy topping.

In England, english muffins are simply called muffins. The brits adopted baked beans from america in a big way. Their beans are not like American baked beans though.

Ballet stores that I've dealt sell new products with modern materials and designs but they always carry the traditional designs that go way back. Seems that there's a demand. I suppose that it's the same as classical musicians insisting on gut strings for their instruments like the type that were used so long ago.

Just a quick mention of some sad news...I read this morning that Nanci Griffith died a couple days ago. She was probably not well known outside of folk music circles, but IMO is someone who made a positive difference in the lives of those who knew her and her music.

Of all of our cohort (roughly speaking) who've more-or-less recently passed, it's her death I find most affecting.
