I had one that I played through a Sunn 1x18 and it was awesome. Surprisingly loud, very punchy, sounded good and the only problem I had was that the Varistor across the power switch contacts died, causing the the contacts to fuse together. Fortunately, they fused in the on position, so the amp was still usable while I sought out a replacement switch and better varistor, just couldn't shut it off with the power switch.

I had a 370 that Did I that. I've got a Crate BT350 like that now!

Heh...switches.

A guy I knew had a wonderful compressor, Ashley SC50, in one of his studio racks for years. One day he calls me, asks me if I want and if so, next time I'm in his town come get. Made the trip to his private place in the hill country, auditioned the piece in place, gave him the cash, and installed it back at my lil commercial place where it just worked for several years.

When I closed shop and sold everything, the guy who bought this specific compressor said it didn't work right...it did, but it seems the power switch had frozen from decades of non use, due to installation in strip driven racks, that it was stuck in the on position and wouldn't turn off...

Wish I had that one back...
