Help! GOF's! Kind of stuck here. I bought a pair of Eden EX110's a few months ago. For some reason I thought I didn't like them. So I put them up for sale on eBay. Now I'm having seller's remorse! The music store made a good deal for me and the speakers arrived in near new condition. The only two things I didn't like was the handle on the back make them uncomfortable to carry, and they have rat fur on them.

But after someone's won them, I don't want to sell them! He hasn't paid, and he was expressing his own doubts about buying them. I've been hinting like h3ll to him that I WILL cancel his bid if he wants, but still no answer. The last time I cancelled a sale, it cost me a negative on eBay and I waited a year to sell anything because I was down to 97% positive feedback! I was so furious. I would cancel the sale but I'm afraid the buyer will retaliate with negative feedback. And eBay is where I play and buy stuff with my small allotted budget. What would you guys do?

Well I talked with the guy who won the speakers. He was super nice. He understood, in Alaska, it's hard to get a couple speakers up here especially if they weight about 70 pounds shipping. He said go ahead an cancel the auction as no longer available and all he asked was that I visit his page on Facebook. Turns out he seems to be a really nice guy and said if I was happy he was happy. All's well that ends well!

Yup...

Trip home was interesting. People need to learn to friggin drive. I swore the last time I made this trip, I'd put a sign on my truck saying "No Tailgating- I'll move over when it's safe. Flash your lights and I'll slow down"

But then I remembered people in Tennessee and Kentucky wouldn't read it, people from Arkansas can't read it, and people from Texas can but would take it as a challenge...

I'm kind of grumpy today. I bought a new work truck to replace my still fine but aging 2002 truck, went through the commercial fleet sales dealer for our region, the fleet manager himself, and ordered exactly what I wanted (I didn't want to pay for features that really weren't "necessary" in a work truck). Truck comes in within the 6-8 week window that was promised, dealer calls yesterday and I arrange to pick it up the morning. Dealer arranges to have it prepped and starts the paperwork. As I am on the road to pick it up, he calls to let me know that when he started the paperwork the VIN came up as unavailable even though he saw the truck last night all prepped and ready for delivery with my name on the delivery tag. when he left. Turns out that another salesman sold my truck within 2 hours of opening the dealership this morning. He's not happy, I'm not happy (though I still have my old truck) so he promises to make things right and calls the purchaser of my truck to inform him of the error. The guy won't return his phone calls, texts or emails. Not looking good for the home team here.

He says he will work on something to make me happy as it's not in any way his fault or my fault, he calls me back a couple hours later and says he will give me another truck the same as what I special ordered (heavy duty tow package, etc.) but with $2500 worth of additional options (options I actually liked) on the dealership's dime. So far, he seems to understand how customer service works at the commercial level as I have bought from this fleet division before. Let's hope he follows through, I sure don't want to wait another 6-8 weeks for a new build.

As a commercial user, I never sell my old truck until my new truck is received and has 1000 miles of break-in under its belt. You never know what kind of crazy stuff can come along to bite you in the ass.
