I played a similar 1x15 combo my buddy had covered for many years in his garage. Plenty loud. Sounded good with my active PJ Ibanez Musician 924DS.

I posted over there.. but i know that there are others with varied opinion.. sometimes that makes us grumpy.. sometimes it don't..
I try to keep it as simple as possible...and as light/compact as possible. Without a crew to lug stuff, or a guy on FOH and another on monitors, hard if not impossible to control, anyway...
