Doing a sound gig tonight for a longtime customer (over 30 years and he just turned 88), a pre-release documentary screening that he is executive producer on. It's the story of a historic theatre in our region that was torn down in the 1970's while being mired in State capital political and economic controversy. The producer/director team are also long time friends and were employees of ours in the mid 1980's. It's kind of fun going out on this project, it's all in good spirits and end product was well executed too. Had dinner last night with everybody and it was nice to work a friendly gig with no real commercial pressure.

I love it! :) I have bass chowder (potato soup with sweet corn and chunks of large-mouth bass) slow cooking on my stove for tonight's dinner. I will be using a big spoon when it's time to partake! :D
I was wondering if it was going to be 4 string or 5 string bass soup ;)

I truly enjoy reunions and opportunities to work with colleagues from yesteryear. I also especially enjoy how much better the old days seem to be in our memories than they were when we were actually slogging though them.

There are of course always a few stories that reflect some genuine iron men and wooden ship situations, but at the end of day most all of us are happy to be living with today's technologies and humbly confess that we were never really as smart as we thought we were at the time.

Is that the oil you use to oil one's butt (preferably hers), or is it the oil extracted from one's butt (also preferably hers).

I'm so confused!
