Ours are much more polite - the native honey bees don't have stings and at one place we lived the house was cut in to the side of a hill with a loungeroom which had
windows opening to the cut on one side.
That had a colony of "Burrow Bees" - very big, loud Bumbly types they were, though very polite - they'd take a short cut through the house from the lounge through the house to the back (kitchen) door and politely wait for you to open the door to let them out, and if we weren't in the kitchen they'd come and find you, bumble around in front of your face and then lead you back there so you could : )
