I'm very tired because I was in a retreat all day being schooled by pretty talented smart professional ladies. They also served breakfast burritos, pastries, roast beef sandwiches for lunch and snacks in the afternoon. All with beautiful smiles. Then they took our pictures and we had to take pictures with them which was tiring. So you can imagine I came home quite tired. I guess I'll feel a little better after wife serves me my ribeye steak.....
Careful of those burritos. Sounds like a 3-Tums day.

Or maybe heart attack on a plate!:roflmao:

Chauvinist!

When do you serve your lady breakfast or a rib eye? :)

Hey Paul. Actually paydays are kind of a celebration for the two of us. Wife Carey loves king crab. You might have seen on TV we have the best king crab in our frigid waters. Here in Sitka we have some local crabbers and our king crabs are young, fresh, and tasty. So while she cooks my steak, I hand cut the meat out of her delicious crab legs. I've had enough practice to where they come out beautifully. I carefully lay the legs on paper towel, then move on to setting up salads. Carey does steamed veggies and the ribeye. We usually microwave a sweet potato to share and i cut the potato between our two plates. She would not be caught dead eating a ribeye, she's a seafood snob! LOL.

We would not pay the price this kind of meal would cost in the local restaurant! LOL

But you're right, @BassmanPaul . It's all about serving each other to show how much we love each other. After a couple health scares last year she couldn't be more precious to me... oh, and I usually get us Skinny Cow cones for dessert! :smug:

Hows about a week on Tuesday at your place for dinner?? You made be hungry. Luckily my Dorothy is cooking a pork loin for supper with spuds, Cauliflower and carrots to go with it. If I don’t moan she’ll put gravy all over it. :) I loves a gravy dinner I does!! :)

I spoke too soon. She says it’s too late to cook a roast so I’m SOL! :( That said, I know she’ll cobble up something tasty for supper even if it’s sending me out Hunting and Gathering in the bitter cold (-2 right now but it’s warmed up since the morning) and snow for a Pizza. LOL

Where's Mulder and Skully when you need them?:help:

Relationships. On Friday I was compelled to tell Wife where I went at 6 pm when our friends were picking us up to go to dinner at 6:45... to buy an amp. She said "Well, be sure to be back dressed up in time."

I was. The amp deal was, however, postponed till the following morning. I got me a 1976-79 Ampeg V4 for cheap. Unortunately, it breaks up a bit too early to be useful for bass, but guitar sounds fantastic and loud through it.
