Tomorrow all day I'll be in a Tribal Council "retreat" for visioning for this year. We will be served documentation, coffee, donuts, and lunch by lovely young smart ladies who work for the local Tribal Government. That's what I'm talking about! Thank goodness wife isn't interested in going! Not that anything would ever be inappropriate, more like the toothless old dog who caught a bus and doesn't know what to do with it. 
I'm truly evil. The other day, some youngster posted a story about some country bass player at a concert, and his bass guitar caught a bullet and saved him from catching it in well, nether regions. The size of the hole was impressive and the wood all splinted up. All I could think of was, ".... that'll buff out....!" ducks

I can't sleep. Spent the last hour looking through posts from my many "friends" on FB. I started watching FB about a year ago after some young ladies at my job insisted I HAD to join so they could share posts with me. Wellllll, a year later-- wayyyy too many "friends" I don't know, so I've been gradually unfriending and unfollowing. Felt great-- like clearing out a mouldy closet. And some people I know I'm amazed at their thought processes. Well, the good news is my FB list is pretty small and I still retain the real friends I know from work and around town. But man, most of the stuff people post is worthless and more often than not, ignorantly opinionated. I guess I'm saying I'm slowly retiring my FB account. I find I spend my free time more enjoyably on Talkbass reading about what I love-- bass and music.
We just keep it to Family and a few friends to keep up with the Tin Lids and Grandkids.
It's good for that at least.

I befriended a guy on Facebook. Now all I get is ** shared ?? post. I added this to my mail preferences to filter them out but I still get them.

Just unfollow them. You still remain friends, but you never see anything they post or share unless you purposefully go to their page. I've done this with many of my friends who can't keep the political stuff in their pants. If you want to control things on a more macro level try Facebook Purity.
I don't say much but I sure talk a lot.

I'm very tired because I was in a retreat all day being schooled by pretty talented smart professional ladies. They also served breakfast burritos, pastries, roast beef sandwiches for lunch and snacks in the afternoon. All with beautiful smiles. Then they took our pictures and we had to take pictures with them which was tiring. So you can imagine I came home quite tired. I guess I'll feel a little better after wife serves me my ribeye steak.....
