Here is a communications deal-y-o that I am sure you have all experienced:
Ever jam with a bunch of friends; guitarist(s), singer(s), drummer and the like, and get to that spot where someone says in general to all 'What do you know how to play?' Usually (IME) its the guitarist that determines the song. If they don't know it everything falls apart. The Drummer, keeps a beat and if some parts are wrong it still sounds good. Singers can make up words or just repeat verses, still sounds good. Bassists/Bass Players/Bass Guitar Players know rhythms, chords, timing, transposing and so on, still sounds good.

Why do you think this is?

Guitar chords support or provide the melody.

My kishu dog Hunky is 3,5 years old and now we have also a female puppy of the same breed who is nearing her first "season". So my vet tells me how she'd like Hunky to have a chemical castration to see how he would react to the eventual surgical removal of his testicles. (Oh this is so hard to write...)

I took Hunky to have the capsule installed today. Poor guy.

They did or maybe still do chemical castration in Thailand as a condition for rapists being released from prison. We should do that for all felons. Good incentive to behave.
