The first Nissan Leaf had a range of 75 miles. The 2019 will have a range of 225.
They have a long way to go. Certainly every time I buy a new car, gas efficiency and power goes up in the new model but I tend to hold on to cars way too long.
I wonder how much it costs to replace the batteries every five years or so.
Toyota is rolling out hydrogen fuel cell cars at dealerships. That will be interesting. Not sure where you'd fuel up. They have electric charging stations along the road, no hydrogen gas stations.
