I watched the ‘Mayday’ show on that event and another on Sully’s hudson landing. Brilliant flying! I admit to feeling a bit guilty that it was Canada Geese he hit!

Good day, GOF's you know the drill... Roll Call! Are all fingers, toes, thumbs and whatever extremities accounted for? What say ye GOF's-- what does the weekend hold for you? Something new for us-- I was invited to a church where a minister I knew since I was a teenager is ministering. He's been gently pressuring me and I'm feeling the pinch. So wife Carey and I are going. I hope he doesn't try to recruit me for playing bass! I don't know any hymns anymore!
A) It'll come back to ya. B) though I'm not Jewish, I got recruited into playing at a Temple. Lotta fun and it PAID.
Hey @GonePlaid ! When I was in the Army, I was on a USO tour. Long story. On my off times I would go out into "the economy" and play with the locals. I actually played with a few German polka bands. Don't play during Octoberfest or try to play and drink from one of their German glass boots! I promise you it won't end well!

Yeah, it was interesting noting the differences(some Very obvious) and the similarities. Luckily the music is written the same as usual. As for the words? Forget it. If you ever get a chance, Klezmer players are often fantastic musicians and the music is fun to play.
Thanks, but I'm not very confident. I have hours of yardwork that I need to do today, it's almost 100 degrees out there, then need to work on my Jeep before I go out of town on Thursday. It's sick. That means fix it tomorrow. Probably at least a tie rod end.

Checking in with all vehicles fully mission capable (sorry to hear you're stuck working off gripes on the Jeep BadExample) and no valid reasons to complain about how life is treating me. In fact, Duke finally finished my Changeling 112T and it arrived earlier in the week in perfect working order. I really liked the one he had me testing out and simply couldn't resist ordering one to keep!

This weekend could very well spell my doom. We have two gigs booked. The first is Sat. night from 8 to 12. This should be at least bearable. The second one is Sun. from 2 to 6 pm. Both gigs are outdoors. It is supposed to be in the mid to high 90's both days. If you see a puddle ooze across the floor of TB on Sun. evening.......That's me.

She's put up a good fight over the past few years, with little maintenance between full combat missions, mostly drives across campus. Now I'm paying for it. I've cut back my hours at work considerably. So I have the time if I can get the energy and weather all at once. Weather ain't happenin' this time. I wouldn't go over 40 MPH as it is. I need to find out what all has loosened up on the front end, fix, align, and plug a tire. Right now it has a nice stainless screw in it keeping most of the air in... for about a week. I want to beat some more miles out of these until fall so I got a nice fresh tread for winter. 1st winter on good off-road tires is nice. Brakes will probably need work before winter too. I'm afraid of the back axle. Dummies put a tiny car like axle back there. Should be a dana 44 minimum. I should probably buy a junkyard aluminum dana 44 before it blows out. It's got to last three more years.
Present and accounted for. Especially that one extremity (right leg) containing the nerve that's being pinched in my back! The pain's knocked me out of my regular Sunday morning gig the past couple months!! Not mention most walking and standing. But, Monday week, the 9th, I'm scheduled for the injection I'm pinning lots of hopes on for relief. Grumble, grump, mumble, etc. . . .
