Modern pain medications (opioids) certainly work for a while until your body builds up a resistance, and then you need more. I speak from 7 years of experience. Steroidal injections are a crap shoot. I've had dozens. Most only lasted a couple of days, but I had some about 5 weeks ago on my shoulder (bone on bone in the socket) and they lasted about a month. Tramadol is for sleep. Been using it for years. Safe and effective.

Sorry about your situation. We all have our lot in life, don't we?

I was in a Khols store, probably 20 years ago, but I will never forget what I witnessed. I saw an elderly man with his wife, and heard him say, "PLEEEEEEASE, I'll do anything if we can just go home now." Then we made eye contact. Then I said, and it got really weird, because it was like I was not trying to speak, it just came out, and I could hear my words as if someone else was speaking them, "It's never going to end, is it?" He looked down, as if beaten by 50 years of shopping, and slowly shook his head. He offered no advice.

I am not joking.

I guess I’m luckier than a show dawg with 3 nuts in that regard. My loving hot wife despises shopping more than I do. I have to literally grab her by the hand to go clothes shopping. The only thing she’ll volunteer to go out to is antique stores which can get expensive, but I’ll spend more on a mic once than she’ll spend on that stuff all year.

More and more stores are closing down. At some point, all shopping will be done on the interweb.

It’s funny, my grandparents, who were born in the late 1800’s, used to shop with catalogs. Mail order was very common. You’d fill out a form from the back of the catalog, include cash in the envelope, your goods would quickly be delivered. At least some things are coming full circle.

Re: the show going smoothly. Inner thigh hair takes a beating when riding a horse. It can get pulled out.

There is apparently a trend in emasculated male grooming, the mankini. Blame women with clippers.
