Those type of big cats need to stay in the wild.

Roger that. I wouldn't be sticking around trying to get a better picture though.

I have a few friends who live in more rural areas and feel the need to pack a gun just to go out in their yards. A couple have some pretty spooky stories about getting stalked.
 
Wife and I watched a show called "I was Prey" on the Animal channel. Why would anyone run 23 miles through mountain trails without bear spray! The sad part is after the lady was mauled she begged them not to euthanize the bear but there's a law that once the bear mauls they kill it. So now she's become a crusader for saving bears.

We have bears here in Sitka but they're the more docile brown bears. They're not aggressive like the griz and black bears. The last lady attacked was a young college jogger who went behind a tape that had been put up to keep people out because there was a mama and two cubs. Well, she ran into the mama and started running out of the park. On the way out mama bear bit the jogger's butt. She only had minor scratches but I'll bet she'll remember to stay away from posted bear areas!
