Thanks for that, and to the others who chipped in on this tangent. I already have polarized long vision shades for day driving and windsurfing and I'm perfectly willing to go for up to three dedicated pairs for different tasks. Just have to figure out what my next primary mode pair is going to be.

I saw Sun Ra's band in a pretty small club in NYC in the mid 70s (The Bottom Line). It was sax player sit in night and they did a a tune where every sax player soloed, one after another. I think there were at least a dozen or so, including a few very famous ones. As they cycled through the intensity level just kept ramping up more and more. The last guy was John Gilmore, who was first chair with Sun Ra for decades. And he did in fact play a long one note solo, if you don't count overblown harmonics and chords. This is reputedly the guy Coltrane got a lot of that stuff from, or at least one of them. I'll admit it, I went apespit. The whole night was sublime, but Gilmore's solo was pretty much the cake, not just the icing.

There definitely wasn't enough room on the Bottom Line stage for 30+ people. My table was about 5 feet from Sonny and I would not have been at all surprised to have seen a few of the players up on that table at some point.

We had a couple players head out the back door and relieve themselves in the alley DURING the set!!!

All that comes to mind is the George Clooney line in From Dusk Till Dawn when Salma Hayek is through with her table dance..."That's what I call a f****** show!

Finding a bottle top with a large enough diameter opening can be a problem. :laugh:

Nice tractor. The semi-trailer looks like it says Gator.

It does/did. Gator Freightways. A great company to work for-until R & L :thumbsdown:bought it out(and put me and 41 friends outta work)
