A couple of planks with a square hole was what it consisted of. No facility to wash hands. Me, I’m a city boy and I have my morning routine. By the time i got home i was so glad!!! :(

That studio must have been a cesspool of ecoli contamination on everything.

Carry hand sanitizer and bottled water. I like to scrub my hands with soap and water before I play.

Sounds like my last session with a trio. The drummer was so overly gung-ho about the project that the guitarist/vocalist got turned off about even doing it. But we did. That was back in June. The CD has been finished, mixed, and copies packaged with a cover and liner for months now, but I've yet to even hear it, much less receive a copy.

Oh well. It was a pain anyway.

They’re predicting snow, lots of it through Wednesday. Walking in the park this morning, all the squirrels were tucked into their warm nests. I left some peanuts in shells at the base of a tree, hoping that one will find the food.

I have five small incomming ground packages that have been dragging through the system. Things seem slower this year for this time. Two USPS ones that took four days to go from Nashville to a hub in Florida. From there they were routed north. UPS sends a daily notice that a delivery is being rerouted. With them, I’ve learnt not to wonder why.

Anyone know of a proven remedy/preventive for gout. And none of this lay off the pork and shellfish stuff either, ya hear.

Had it real bad on the right over Thanksgiving. Finally knocked it out by soaking in epsom salt and drinking a couple of bottles of cherry juice. No sooner than it went gone on the right yesterday, finally, do I get it on the left overnight. I killed an entire bottle of cherry juice yesterday just for the fun of it too! Making me grumpy and feeling old. ....oh yeah, seems like I'm farting a lot more also.

I'm heading out to pulmonary rehab..... I'll be looking for suggestions as I wince in pain while on the treadmill.

Below is a copy of a post I made in the basses section about Sire basses. Thought I'd share it with you guys.

Yes , they really are that good. Gatorbait (my son) ordered one a few years ago. He was out of town when it arrived so I opened it up and started playing it. The thing played like a dream right out of the box. This is coming from a long standing P Bass man. I have been setting up my basses for years and I didn't have to touch this thing as far as set up went. The sound was great through my SVT rig and it was definitely more versatile than my P Basses. I was very impressed with it so I sent Gatorbait a text. I told him MY new bass had arrived and thanked him very much for the gift. He texted back asking if I had a death wish. lol. He said he couldn't wait to get home and try it. A few days later he got home and I told him the bass was downstairs in its case. He was very excited and headed on down to try it out. Upon opening the case he found some shards of wood , a couple of cut up strings , some miscellaneous hardware and a note saying OOPS , SORRY , I DROPPED IT. I was loudly called several names that I can't repeat on TB. When he came back up the stairs , I was sitting on the couch playing his bass. He gently took it away from me , went back down the stairs and plugged it into the SVT. I didn't see him again for several hours.
He absolutely loves the thing and has been playing it professionally for a few years now. :thumbsup: If I ever get the chance , I'm going to steal it from him.;)

They are very affordable!

Not to detract from the product, what is it about endorsements. Many of their basses have Marcus Miller’s name on the headstock. Great if that’s your name. If I were to order one, I’d ask them to skip that label.

I also don’t want to share underpants with Calvin Klein.

Marcus Miller is no Leo Fender. :laugh:

Marcus is doing it for the money. Leo did it because, he was making it all happen.

Later in life, Leo saw the error in his ways and called his company G&L. In an act of humility, putting his initial last.

Yep. Branding is kind of a damned if you do, damned if you don't deal. Watching how people react to NAMM badges has been very instructive to me, for instance.
