Get off my LAWN! "Grumpy Old Farts"

We took about 8 inches of snow last night and today. Two volunteers sensibly stayed home, one came in. When she tried to leave at 2, her Audi was helpless in the driveway. The shelter is 50 yards from my house, so I was available. I had to roll out my old Ram 4x4 and hook a chain on, drag the little Quatro loose, then lead her a mile to the blacktop so she could drive in my tracks.

Here comes the GOF...why would someone who lives in this part of the country be driving a Quatro in a snowstorm? How can they not know better? I havent owned anything what wasnt 4x4 and at least 4000# since 1969. There is a reason why in this neighborhood (ok, rural route) the pickup trucks outnumber the coon hounds. It's not just that they hold more feed sacks.

On the plus side, there are only about 8 weeks of snowy weather conditions between now and mid March. I have my countdown calendar running.

A rawer version, listening to take 1, it’s interesting to note that they worked out all the details such as the horns and even the whistling in pre-production.

It’s nice to see how songs come.

Mics don't pick up whistling very well and I'm not adding a screen for one song.:rollno:

Tell the audience that if they want to participate, they can do the whistling part. Stand a bit away from the mic and whistle, the space helps. The only problem is, with an oldies crowd whistling, you might get dentures flying across the room.

Looking forward to @SoulReflection 's Soulful Sunday...... he's been batting 1000 ...

You are too kind, Will. I enjoy doing it and it's always nice to reflect on our roots ;).

On a different, but similar note, I offer this...

Not too many people in Northern California recognize this but, from the Pacific Northwest to Alaska, it has meaning:

The FinAddicts logo looks like it was inspired by a figure on a totem pole.

I was hoping Will would respond but, apparently he is still snuggling!

The First Nations (Native North Americans) have an art form that depicts the spirituality of all things in nature. This one, in particular, comes from the Pacific Northwest and represents a salmon.

Not being an expert, this is the best I can do and...I do stand to be corrected. All I can say is that, since I attached this to my boat, I have caught and released more fish than ever before.

Happy Soulful Sunday...

What a beautiful soothing song to rock my rocking chair to on a soulful Sunday....

Mr. @beans-on-toast you nearly made me p*ss my pants! :roflmao:

So I was parked in the bathroom configuring my iphone. My wife came to the door. I told her that I wasn’t finished downloading. She didn’t think that my joke was as funny as I thought it was.

 Had our Wheaties today, Mr. Beans?

It seems most women find no humor in bathroom humor. I liked it and will use it.
