Although the world moves on, we all do continue to fit into it, one way or another. We are all "on the spectrum" of whatever world you may consider. The only difficult part is coming to terms with our lot in the "world" we choose. Maybe we just need to pursue other worlds. There are worlds of worlds to choose from.
I'm not as good at some new parts of the digital world as my grandkids, but I'm much better at some older parts of the digital world than they are! Different parts of the digital spectrum. But I'm lightyears ahead of them in the rational/tactical/philosophical world(s).
"Know thyself." was etched into the stonework over one of the doorways of one of my early schools. Not sure I'm there, yet. But the pursuit has brought a certain peace, if not contentment.
