...and as if Markbass hadn't already cornered the market on appalling branding and huge logos, they came up with the Markbass Ninja logo and associated color scheme.

I’n not a fan of logos and have been known to remove badges. A logo on a T-shirt or a jacket is a deal breaker for me.

Some cars go way overboard with their labeling. One reason why I went with the blackout package on my last car.

Markbass speaker coloring came from somewhere...

Looks good on the bird, not so good in their speaker cabinet.

There is a great deal of gear that would have its logo removed were it in my care. As one who cut the "alligators" off my clothing in the 70s (I know, crocodiles), it's no great leap to dike (dike, ancient hacker verb - "when in doubt, dike it out) out a brand logo that occupies 20 percent of the gear's real estate.

Perhaps that's kind of grumpy. But strictly speaking, I don't believe women can be grumpy, as with the curt and snippy tale now far upthread. Maybe just Mean Old Bat.

If I'm gonna wear a T-shirt that just says the name of the manufacturer, they're payin' me.

NoDoz vs caffeine laden Mellow Yellow vs Red Bull.

A NoDoz tablet is 200mg of caffeine,

Mellow Yellow had 52.5mg of caffeine in a 12oz can.

Red Bull contains 111mg of caffeine in a 12 oz can. The formulation includes sugar from beets, B-group vitamins, and taurine, an amino acid. It’s a modern version of Mellow Yellow, which was owned by Coke.

Then again, Mellow Yellow was also the name of the highly refined LSD manufactured by Owlsey Stanley during the '60s in San Francisco. Not something truck drivers would want.
