Just got back from the Greek Church. No mushy peas in sight! Lots of great pastries, though. :) *

My SO's father was into stereo photography; besides the Kodak I got from my friend, we have a Tower stereo camera, and a couple of stereo viewers, and many 35mm slides. A guy I knew when I lived in L.A. was also a big stereo photography buff. He was always checking out the "latest" Stereo Realist cameras we had at a store I worked at. Sometimes he would get the hots for one and his antennae would pop out of his head! :D

The cowbell controversy is dispelled here. The song was recorded by Shelly Yakus. You’ll hear tracks solo’ed. Unfortunately, this isn’t the full video. There are a lot more details in the extended version.

Best birthday present ever. About a year and a half ago Gatorbait (my son , but you all knew that) and his girlfriend moved out to Cali. They stayed there for about a year and recently relocated to the Denver area. Last summer , Seahag was planning to take a trip out to see him but unfortunately , the plans fell through so she hadn't seen him in quite a while and was missing him terribly. Unknown to anyone in the family , he caught a flight and walked in the front door last night about 7 pm.
He had set this up with Bearbaits (my daughter still living in the area) boyfriend. He picked him up at the airport and first took him back to their apartment. I hear Bearbait screamed like a banshee when she saw him. Then they all loaded up and headed to our house. Seahag was already in bed when they arrived so Bearbait knocked on the door and woke her up and told her she needed to show her something. When she came out of the bedroom , Gatorbait popped out to wish her a happy birthday. I understand Seahags reaction was nothing short of outstanding. I was playing a gig last night and had no clue of any of this till they all showed up at the gig during the last set. Needless to say , this was an epic night in our familys history. It was a fairly early gig (ended at 10 pm) so we all headed back to the old homestead for drinks and whatever else popped into our heads. I think we all headed to bed around 2 am. Score a huge one for Gatorbait.
