Ever noticed that when someone has a crappy, used up bass guitar, cab, or head, it's always listed as "project ****?" Why not just say, "Junked out speaker cab-- shredded--needs a lot of TLC?"

I never let any of my equipment get into that sort of state.

True story...my wife and I have an anniversary coming up. Yesterday, we were shopping and I found her looking for anniversary cards. I told her that if she was looking for a card for me, she was looking in the wrong section and pointed her towards the "In Sympathy" section. At that point, there was a definite chill in the air .

Oh-oh.

When I was a kid, I wanted to be a garbage man. I figured that it would be fun to ride on the back of the truck and you get to keep all the neat stuff that you find. A friend’s dad drove the garbage truck.

They didn’t used to have plastic garbage bags back then. It was common where I lived that people would wrap their kitchen garbage in newspaper sheets and tie it up into a neat package with string or tape it. People even took pride in their garbage.

Check - Type 800 and 95 camera (along with the full set of accessories for the 95) models, and 545 sheet film holder (at least one, maybe more).

I have to look through a box of cameras a friend gave me a couple months ago; I know there is a Kodak Stereo camera, a classic Argus C3, Exakta Varex, and lots more old goodies in there! Probably, some junk too, that I'll have to unload.

One of these day I should (try) and make a complete inventory of all this stuff. The only enlarger I have here is a DeJur 6x9 model.

OOoooo, Jeff! Could you make your own custom ViewMaster reels with that!?!? I absolutely LOVED those when I was a kid! Shoot, even now!!

Actually it was given to me at work and I really haven't used it for years. Eventually my boss (about 10 years ago) bought me a nice camera at the time but now my iPhone has a higher resolution than that camera. No SD card, just cloud and bluetooth transmission. But I don't do all that scientific stuff you guys do. I just take pictures of scenery, kids, grandkids, wife, etc.

Yeah, used to take many pics of my daughter growing up. I had(OK, have[someplace])a Minolta SRT 201 w/ a 28-200mm lens that I used for everything. Haven't shot film in years. I've thought about getting a digital body my lens(es)would fit but it's way down the bucket list.

Beef dripping! No wonder folk get blocked arteries!!

I remember that my mum always kept Beef Drippings in the pantry. Sometimes she would spread it on bread for we kids to take for school lunches.

Based on over 41 years as an engineer in the aviation field I think this is a bit oversimplified, but sadly a more accurate representation of of how the real world works than I'd like to admit. The only addition would be a step after the WD-40..."If it still doesn't move, get a bigger hammer!"
