Gig tomorrow night. 6:30-9:30, 2 miles from the house. Currently waiting for shop to get done with 'gear hauler'. Possible jam Sunday, weather permitting. Just might get energetic and take the "practice amp".

OMG Plaid, I played one of those in Wenatchee Washington in the 70's and loved it! The one I played was 100 watts and had a 15" FOLDED HORN CAB! like Acoustic Control Corporation. I started saving for one and was to return to Wenatchee, but when I did, the only one sold. I've never forgotten how nice that amp was! So cool! A 100 watt combo with a folded horn cab built in!

I started saving for one and was to return to Wenatchee, but when I did, the only one sold. I've never forgotten how nice that amp was! So cool! A 100 watt combo with a folded horn cab built in!
I'm surprised that Kasinos aren't more common. Surely they are as bullet proof as the Kustom line...

As I think of Wenatchee and wonder how many times TB'ers paths may have crossed (or almost crossed) IRL, I wonder - Will - did you ever run into an Alaskan guitar player who calls himself Usik? He'd be about our age.

I might have.... we played the Apple Blossom festivals and there were a LOT of bikers there. We made bookoo tips and got wayyyy too many free shots! LOL. What did he look like?

Been rather a while, actually, yes a good while. By memory, about 5'10", slender, thin face, short light brown hair. Made quite a pile working on the Alaskan Pipeline. Anyone who calls themselves an Usik is by definition an Usik (in my opinion) and he was / is (?) one of the bigger Usiks I've met.

This thing is (supposedly) 200w w/ 2x15"-probably peak but it is loud and if EQ'ed properly doesn't fart out 'til F# or lower. I think that because they were 'cheap'(compared to a R&P Kustom), people treated them like uh,...er,...badly and few survived.

Quite a few years ago I got a PM from a TB'er who lives a couple of miles from me. I'd never met him in the flesh here, or as it turns out, back in CT where we grew up about 20 miles apart. We definitely were at plenty of the same shows on both coasts. And yeah, I've been to Wenatchee a few times myself.

While not one to ordinarily look out the window of a plane
better strike that as for more likely one who looks out the window of a plane when there is something to see. And as one who in another Now that isn't Now now flies into SeaTac every single Monday
