Doesn't mean the underlying motivations just disappeared (see: incels) :vomit:

Do they ever pull this off well. The bass lines in the song @3min take it to a higher level. Bowie wrote the song after watching 2001: A Space Odyssey.

Now that takes me back! Nice job, guys.

Yeah Monday, Blue Monday, Full Monday Blues is just tellin' the truth, Ma Rainey sez.

And now for something completely different from Pomplamoose. They have some interesting work. (Jack Conte is the one behind Patreon.)

I was a lad stationed in Germany and we often made trips to France... I fell in love every time I saw one of these bands with the beautiful continental singers.... Something so attractive about a young lady singing in French.... That lad is long gone but the memories are fond...

Nice vocals. Is it my imagination, or do most people not pay that much attention to vocal harmonies and blending these days? Usually when I go out to hear music lately it seems like any second voices are tossed in like an afterthought. These guys really did the work.

Hey Will, it's been a long time since I heard from or saw anything from Jon. I know you two kept in touch and was wondering if like me, life is just a little too busy for him at the moment, or he is entirely focused on recovering from some of his health issues. If you do touch base with him, please give him my best regards.

All his songs are done like this one. He has an amazing vocal range and manages to capture the small details that make the songs. And yes, a lot of artists do miss these details. I find that studying how covers like these are done brings me closer to the creative process.

This 80 song album in particular is a treat.
