I hope it helps you. I take 1600mg 2 or three times a day but I'm a pretty intense case. What I've found is that I had to stay with it for a few weeks and it's one of those things where you don't really notice it's working but you realize what it was doing for you once you forget it for a day. Keep taking whatever else you might normally use for allergies, too. I find it all works together.

Attended an awesome BBQ tonight, and enjoyed homemade Slovenian čevapčiči for the first time.

GOF content: My mum had a series of ischemic attacks about 15 years ago, which cost her most of her short-term memory. She's a uniquely resourceful and determined lady, and has managed to continue to live independently thanks to a variety of memory aids and tricks.

Unfortunately, progressive hearing loss, a recent fall that cracked her pelvis, continued erosion of her memory, etc. are finally robbing her of her independence.

She is an introvert, a passionate gardener, and an avid walker. At 95, she still likes to walk the couple of kilometers each way to the bank, pharmacist, grocery store, doctor's office, etc. at least 3 or 4 times a week. She also likes to tour the neighborhood, checking out gardens with a 65 year old friend and walking partner.

We are in transition at the moment, coming to recognize that all of her favorite activities are being threatened by the prospect of needing to leave her condo apartment, and move into a long term care facility.

Needless to say, she's finding it hard to accept this, and so am I.

Very sorry to hear about your mum. We went through this a few years ago with my father-in-law. He was about the same age, was always quite active, but things just started breaking down. It was very hard on him to deal with needing care, as he'd always been so capable and independent. I hope your mum will be well.

Thanks, @Al Kraft . I certainly won't retire wealthy but there are some things money just can't buy. And living in God's country is one of them. I had loved the city but marrying Carey and looking through her eyes at where I've grown up-- gives me a whole new perspective.

This afternoon, the temp here was either 95 or 99, depending on your weather service. That's at 60% humidity. The heat index was either 109 or 127. I intended to mow but changed my mind. I'm guessing Sitka wasnt quite that hot?

Btw...in January this year we had -38. Iowa doesnt have a climate, just weather.

Looking at the image, Sitka paints a picture of peacefulness and beauty.

Good fishing for kings, coho, sockeye and halibut. Also some of the best tasting shrimp in the world. I'm convinced that cold water shell fish will always taste better than warm water. We do boat around the island a bit on nice days like this. There's a salmon derby going on right now. Sitka is very serene and peaceful. Lotta tree huggers here too lol!

Wow! That is much too hot for my thick blood! It's about 73 right now which is very warm for us.

Back from vacation and it was OUTSTANDING. Lost count of the Bloody Marys and Pina Coladas. Weather was perfect all week. Hit the ocean every day. Rocking chairs on a porch where I could have my feet overhanging the Boardwalk. Found the best crab cakes in the world. If you can make it to Ocean City Md, go hit a place called The Taphouse on the boardwalk between 4th and 5th street. Yeah , there are a lot of places around the bay and the ocean that serve pretty darn good ones , but as someone that has tried them all these are the best I have ever had.
