Can't imagine Will screwing anyone over on the business side. Also, hard to imagine him loosing his cool with another poster; always stayed on track with facts or his honest opinion and took nothing personally in any threads I've ever read. Very weird,; sorta like that pic you attached?
hate to see tb loose out on a very helpful poster like will33,
fnord!

I'll be right with you guys... gotta a couple hot ones here looking for shuffleboard lessons... ;)

We need more old farts pics of screws in spines and other wacky medical enhancements (don't go there!)
f!

Here's my most recent modification. It's my right ankle that I broke 5/4/15. This shot doesn't show the part of the fibula that broke along with the ankle, but it didn't need any hardware, so it doesn't matter. I don't have a shot of the 8 screws and two rods they put in my neck last December as part of a cervical fusion surgery. The past year's been kinda rough, but I'm still kickin'. Rode my mountain bike for the first time in well over a year today (not counting the ride on 5/4/15 when I broke the ankle).

I bet you didn't get a nice dinner from your screwing either ;).
My lumbar screws have to come out, they are causing major trouble. I wonder if I can keep them after, they cost enough.

Yeah, that's what I'm talking about! Um, stay of the bike old timer!
B, demand the lumbar screws… and post pics. This is science, damnit.
all you old farts can share, and prepare me for the horror:nailbiting:
timebinding domesticated primates!
grumpy primates always time bind best (some call us nihilists, but we're really just survivors):cigar:

No way! That's the worst mountain biking injury that's happened to me in 30 years, and cycling has kept me in good enough shape to survive more serious health issues (none related to cycling) than most people see in a lifetime. I certainly don't ride as aggressively as I used to or ride the more difficult trails around here anymore, but I'm still in better shape than I was 30 years ago or any time before that.

Dang, you guys have had some pain! Something I am very familiar with.
I use several naturopathic as well as Chinese natural medical therapeutics to help myself. Growing older consists of living life; who was it, maybe George Carlin that said "We wake up and take a little pill called life." And everything is downhill after that. The human body is designed to wear out, energetic explosions ("accidents") happen, and there we go. I call it "rode hard and put up wet" syndrome. I am not grumpy about it today, but could be tomorrow.

I like the Hunter S. Thompson quote “Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside in a cloud of smoke, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming "Wow! What a Ride!”

Granted, as I've gotten older I've learned to pace myself and tempter my activities with the idea that I want to be able to do it again tomorrow, not have to take a week to recover. I figure you're either actively living or you're just sitting around waiting to die.
