I always thought that the Fender lines were supposed to be based on an pear or hourglass shaped woman’s body. Something about subliminally marketing to males.

Yeah, lots of fairly pedestrian photos, not so much art photos. But, everyone has their own ideas about what art is.

Sadly, lost the blue and white motif very recently as I swapped in La Bella tapes with purple silks. Doesn't look as svelte. And actually believe I like the D'Addario tapes better.
No actual art attempted.

Staying with the La Bella [just for a bit].
If my dim memory is working (if is doing a lot of work here), Ian S. Port in 'The Birth of the Loud', about Leo and Lester, went on a bit about the space-aged-ness of FSOs.
I'm really glad to have this stuff, to the extent that it is, in the rear view mirror. (Remember the ol' Ridgid tool pictures? Very happy to see those have gone bye-bye. Etc. Etc.)

We have become so politically correct we're scared of our own shadows. I remember moving to Seattle and one of my first jobs was mail delivery boy in a business that housed three stories of workers. I'm not any Brad Pitt but when I was delivering the first day the women were commenting on me, and it felt odd. I ended up dating a few of the ladies at the office-- who winked at me lol.
That was a million years ago. I actually wonder how young people signal to each other that they are attracted to each other. Either way either gender can scream harassment nowadays.. sheesh what a different world we live in now. I never condoned or condone now any form of sexism but I feel the pendulum has swung a bit to far in the wrong direction....

Behold the new do:
I'm happy with it. Got home, applied my own products, strategically applied the straightening iron, and this was the end result. I'll go lighter with it over time but I'm pretty happy to have found someone who can cut curls well.
