Roadrunner reminded me of Toronto legend Prakash John.
He was on the road with Alice Cooper as a young guy, but is best-known up here in the frozen North for The Lincolns, a long-lived funk band that was a revolving home to dozens of Canadian studio and touring heavies.
Mr John used to run the lighting board with his feet, will laying down marvellously athletic grooves and singing note-perfect harmony vocals.
