Downchild Blues Band. Interesting story about a guest on the first track, Nanette Workman. She sang backup on Honky Tonk Women and other Stones songs, she also worked with John Lennon, Elton John, and others. BUT FORGET ABOUT THAT, SHE SANG A SONG ON THE BENNY HILL SHOW IN 1971.

Holy cow. That's worthy of a Juno of some sort, fer shure.

Roadrunner reminded me of Toronto legend Prakash John.

He was on the road with Alice Cooper, Edgar Winter, Lou Reed and others as a young guy, but is best-known up here in the frozen North for The Lincolns, a long-lived Toronto club band that was a revolving home to dozens of Canadian studio and touring heavies.

Mr John used to run the lighting board with his feet, will laying down marvellously athletic grooves and singing note-perfect harmony vocals.

Born in 1947, he is still active with his son Jordan’s band.

I once read an article abot her and was very impressed to notice that in a photo, she had a Studer 2" 24 track recorder in her living room.
