I have a hard time even laughing at that, I feel sad having read that.

I find it hard to believe that someone would take the time and effort to actually write something like that.

It seems to me like it would take a lot of effort to be that inconsiderate, like he is trying to be ********, I would have to force myself to be THAT stupid.

Fetis and Snowblind; please edit and remove your casual use of "gay" as a derogatory term; thats very offensive, and shows your age/immaturity and rather extreme misconception of social etiquette. Please remove it, and stop using words like that as derogatory prejudical terms. Thanks.

i formed TELL only last year (one year ago, not 20 years - I have an MBA from NYU and my brother, our awesome singer is a lawyer - we are smart and talented) - i write most of the songs, arrange them and play drums - we do not need a bassist to write or record (we can dubb) - only need a bassist for live performance (out guitarist is amazing)

You really should have got your brother to write this - learn how to spell and punctuate, and the basics of grammar, and I'll get back to you on this one. What exactly did you learn at NUY? If you're as talented as you are smart, I get the feeling the guys from Paramount were just humouring you.

i have been playing drums since 10 and I am accomplished - I do not ask for $ to play with a band - I formed TELL because I knew that we could take this all the way and millenniums beyond $50 gigs.

So, if Paramount decide to get back to you, and offer you a whopping great advance and royalties, (seeing as you're so good) you'll refuse the money, won't you? If you're really in it purely for the music, surely you wouldn't be so worried about getting a record deal, and wouldn't be so insecure that you have to constantly mention this?

I can play guitar and drums. I personally prefer the bass, and think it's harder to master. That's just my opinion, and you can disagree if you want - instead of being small minded, I'm respecting your opinion, if not the way it was stated. By critising someone else's attitude, you're being something, in your words, of a hippocrat.

you think your learning how to play bass, but you probably play REALLY easy stuff. It is easy to play basic music (like Blink 182), on bass. But, I could get behind my bro's drums and hit the snare all day, doesn't make it an easy, crappy, stupid instrument that only crackheads can play. Same with guitar. Oh, one other thing, vocals isnt an instrument.

I have to disagree. The voice is an instrument. The difference is that it's an instrument that's built inside the musician (It's hard to think of singers as musicians, I know).

I would argue that instruments were created to do all the things which a singer's voice cannot do, like permanent sustain, that sort of thing. The voice is the oldest instrument there is, and there's even a saying that goes "Voice: The only instrument that was created by God".

Don't get hung up on the narrow definition that an instrument is something you have to buy in the store.

I'm surprised a small minded person like himself can actually find his way home to his 1400sqrft loft.

There is no point to actually sending abusive messages to him for if he was in it for the music then he would appreciate all instruments regardless of how many strings, years, brainpower or degrees it needs to be played. The factor that he does not realise that all instruments have their part in every type of music is what will be the downfall of himself and other likeminded muscians. This is a plain fact and I wish him well in his career as a muscian but he may find it hard to do this due to his attitude maybe it will change with time and I hope it will.

I'm surprised that a small minded person like himself can actually elicit so much emotion from you guys. C'mon, the guy is obviously misguided. Who really cares what he thinks or has to say. I certainly don't. Why are you guys getting so defensive? Frankly, my response to his email would have been no response at all. Certainly not worth the effort.
