I wish I could play for his band, so he could kiss the back of my bass, he must be really good if it took him 20 years to learn how to play drums, must be that time of the month , and this will probably be the last time I hear of the band "TELL"....what a loser!!!! hahahahaha

Just because the person deserves to be called every name that's been used doesn't mean ypu actually have to write them all out.
I'll agree that the guy's a moron. If I were feeling malicious, I'd share said Moron's e-mail with many friends and have them all e-mail the moron to point out how much his band sucks.

With the remarks about FIX, i decided to check out their site, and after bragging on and on about how good they are and how far they will make it, they changed their name. Its Sin 6 now, which is still pretty damn crappy if you ask me.
Oh thats right folks, i have had a whiff lol.
And let me tell you, the smell of drummers isn't pleasing. What can i say? this drummer (and song writer, hmmm "oooga Chaka") is obviously annoyed that there is actually people who make his 20 yrs of leather smacking look good. Us bassists fatten up the drum sounds tis common knowledge.
There is an adelaide band where it is obvious the drummer started it cause there is no bassist, and they sound tinnie and terrible.
I reckon you should invite the baboon to post on Talkbass.....

Some people have WAYYYYY TOOOOOO MUCHHH time on their hands!!!!! I'd want a bassist that thought he was good in my band (if I wasen't a bassist). I wouldn't want a total arogant SOB, but someone that knew he's good & can back it up!!!! It's seem's to me that he is bitter & has never had any real exposure w/his band.

Hmmm...it took him 20 years to become an "accomplished" drummer, I wonder how long his band has been on the "verge"? He's probably bitter and twisted 'cos you get paid for playing, and he's still to do a paying gig after 20 years!

- Why are you so angry about the "Paying" part of the ad? Could it be that Tell desperately needs a bass player, but can't get one and can't afford to pay one?
- If Tell is the best name you could come up with for the band I can't wait to hear your music!!!
- You forgot to finish your sentence - "we are on the verge of hitting it big" - and have been for the last 20 years.

btw, we play in a 1400 sq ft loft that i own - not my mom's basement
we all have day jobs and do not need 50 bucks to play with someone
we play for the music and let me tell U a**hole - Paramount music chief execs listened to our demo and are interested - our composition rate is 1 new original song each and every get together - we write (my brother and I very carefully and creatively)
we are not kids and are serious - you think U have a big skill, think again - U are just a bassist trying to get paid situations - and U will hear our music very soon - you will eat your words about us - U don't even have a clue what we have and U mock us
i formed TELL only last year (one year ago, not 20 years - I have an MBA from NYU and my brother, our awesome singer is a lawyer - we are smart and talented) - i write most of the songs, arrange them and play drums - we do not need a bassist to write or record (we can dubb) - only need a bassist for live performance (out guitarist is amazing)
i have been playing drums since 10 and I am accomplished - I do not ask for $ to play with a band - I formed TELL because I knew that we could take this all the way and millenniums beyond $50 gigs.
do not give me your peace bulls**t - you are a hippocrat and won't get anywhere with your short-term attitude -
i am learning bass now - and it is totally easier than drums or guitar or keys or vocals - try playing drums and U will see the difference
you're attitude blew getting into something real with a future
you are a loser bassist - yeah big deal they are hard to come by because it is a sh**y instrument that no one wants to play
