GHS Balanced Nickel strings

I am pretty well smitten with roundcore Bass Boomers on a Fender Jazz bass. They give me the tone and feel that I like best on my jazz. Since I have two sets of GHS Balanced Nickels ordered, I should put a set on my Jazz and Precision at the same time.

My J and RCBs have been together for two and a half weeks. They're inseparable now.

I'm hoping the BNs will turn out to be the soul mate my P has been looking for. ;)

Love the RCBs on my Jazz as well. Love the PWs on my Nate Mendel Precision. It's the P/J that is blowing in the wind as far as strings are concerned. I guess I'll play around with them and see what comes up. I was originally planning on putting PWs on all three basses, but the RCBs changed that, and now the BNs are looking for a spot. Might have to put them on the Nate Mendel and see how they fair. Or buy another bass LOL

RCB for J, BN for P and PW for PJ. Done. ;)

Hmmm......I'll try it. The PWs do sound pretty good on the PJ. Though, last night I was playing the P and the tone was amazing, to say the least.

That proposition leaves precious little space for Progressives, the crown jewel in the GHS empire! (Though does sound good otherwise...)

Ok, now I really need to get a new bass.
