Sure, it sounds great. But that’s no reason not to mess around and see what else this thing can doi love the stock pickup so i personally wouldn't think of doing that.

Looks great. I like the hard case, but think I might go for the gator gl-lps foam case.I picked up a Les Paul case , it’s tight , but it just fits ...

That taco case is so ridiculously big. I just use a guitar soft case to cart mine around. That soft case they come with is so big my Epi Flying V bass fits , except for about about one inch of the pointy headstock . It’s close enough that I use it rather than drag around the enormous hard shell case I have for it .

Ha ha! I wish I'd known that. I had one of these and sold it. After selling it, I got a Guild Starfire II. It came with a nice Guild case, but I kept thinking, "I wish I still had that big old Gibson bag that came with the Les Paul DC! That would be perfect for just carrying the big-bodied Guild around to practice when I don't need the protection of the hard case. I'd have gladly paid for you to ship it to me and thrown in a couple bucks to boot! The soft "mono-type" cases Gibson sells with the Les Paul Tribute guitars also fit. Like the hard case, it's tight, but WAY better than the full scale gig bag that came with it (which I promptly threw away).
I have a bunch of Gibsons and almost bought one of these, but the reason I posted this is I love that song, very classy tune to be doing in a cover band. Here's another one you should do, easy to play too:
I never knew Peter Quaife to use a short scale, oh yes, an EB-3.
FYI...My Les Paul Memphis bass is also very tight in it's same case.I picked up a Les Paul case , it’s tight , but it just fits ...
