It is *very* light - possibly too light for someone who'd play it on a strap unlike myself - but since I'll be playing seated if I ever end up going back to performing "live", the neck-dive potential doesn't phase me one bit.
Whether I'll be able to adjust to the neck profile remains to be seen. This was the very reason why I stopped playing fives back in the mid 90s, and I owned some *very* nice ones at the time...
You could always do ultralight tuners and heavy brass knobs to help the balance. I did that with my 2017 and it is very comfortable now.
Once I adjusted to the neck profile on my 2017 (figuring yours is similar) I prefer it to every other 5 string that has come and gone. Had some very nice ones too.
