Here's my Gibson SG Supreme reissue limited edition in Natural. All I can say is WOW! This thing really rocks. It sounds like a bass should -- has a ton of tone and rattles the windows. I don't want to say this too loud, but it blows away my Fender Mustang reissue.

And my wife likes it too, because it has her initials --SG-- on the truss rod cover.

I never was a big fan of Gibson in the past. I wasn't crazy about their looks or sound. But this thing has made me a convert.

The Gibson bashing around here is about as bad as the SX bashing. Thank goodness for the Gibson Club.

By the way, where's my number?

Grabbed my LP Money Bass Natural Satin few hours ago. Just "wow". It's a real rock'n'roll machine! It's suprisingly very lightweight and balances great. The output is strong and beefy. I can't wait to use it on the next gig.

Count me in!

Photos are coming soon ;)

nice pups for Gibby's on the evil bay - check out the Gibson Bass ads.

i don't know if there is a rule against posting links on here or not so i won't.

a TB Plus and an engraved 71 Humbucker if someone needs a mud maker and i think Mr. Crab (as he is known elsewhere) has an Orville chrome pup listed.

i posted this for gibby lovers

I've planned to swap the hardware to all-black. But it looks great as is.
I've just added black Schaller straplocks and a custom "crown" trussrod cover crafted by my fellow artist.

I've had a first rehearsal with it yesterday and this beast's rocked! :bassist: A very huge sound in a really lightweight and comfy bass.

It is to pass through two shows by the end of this week.

I'll definitely wright a review after that ;)

Is it just me, or this baby got a really wide neck? looks like for a 5 stringer
Is it comfy?

I really want a studio 5 string T-Bird, what are the like?

I can't compare it to the regular version, but I sure do likes mine. I have 3 basses atm, trimmed down from 5. My Studio 5 made the top 3, along with a Ric 4003, and Fender AM Deluxe P. For me, aside from tone, it's all about the necks, and the Studio 5's neck is awesome, thin front to back, not too wide, and very fast. There are no inlays, just tiny dots on the side of the neck, that would be my ONLY compaint. It's hard to see the dots on a dark stage. I've put stickers over the dots to help me see 'em better. Awesome bass, if you like that dark Gibson tone, the Studio 5's got a bucket full.

Looks great! I like the truss cover. Let us know know how it goes at your shows.
