Guess they are far and few between in minty condition.
I like it, The LE Cherry is a beautiful color on it.
It feels and sounds verrrrry different from any of my other basses.
It is an acquired taste I would say.
Once I find strings that go well with it, should be good to go.

Wondering if any of you have used "Virtuoso Premium Polish" on your Nytro Cellulose Gibson finishes before?
I was reading VERY good reviews on that product from Gibson owners in various google searches and wanted to ask more about it.
This Nytro finish is really soft it seems and just a light wipe down with a soft cotton cloth puts light lines in it here and there.
Want to keep this 2011 LE Cherry TBird as minty as possible, in case of a possible resale down the road.

I prefer to not buy from ebay, as I'm from europe and to get the grabber here was already worse enough.

i understand about tone but some basses are just not for all men for look, like john meyer looks strange with a sg, and the sound didnt fit to him after we knew him with his strats

it's an alder one, which i prefer since they're lighter weight and (IME) more resonant.

i've been playing thru my SVT and i have been super impressed with its tone. i was telling my wife that even though i had one years ago (in '75), i didn't remember them sounding as great as they do.

Gibson had great lining colors in the 60's and 70's now we get poodle white. He's my '77 unbroken black Thunderbird sporting a NOS guard I bought as a Xmas present to meself

Just posted this up for grabs. Getting really hard to locate in stores.
Great price for a barely played 2011 LE Cherry Bird.
I just have bad G.A.S. pains for this U.S. Lakland Decade. So I am letting go of my new bird and another bass as well.
Passing this headsup onto Gibson clubbers for consideration just in case...
