Gibson Les Paul Bass Limited Edition Re-issue

I knew about the special edition Les Paul that they show on the Gibson web site - with that "interesting" finish. But this is the first time I'm seeing this. I like the cherry burst finish, but I would think that a tobacco burst would be the real deal clincher. No indication on this link if it's a short scale or full scale.

Any Gibson fans out there with the ducks to pick up one these?

I bought a 'New Old Stock' one 4 months ago (Oz importer still has about 4 kicking around) for $1500..

Wonder if they fixed the pickups in em? Mine were faulty (as were all the others still available).

Wow. Got the crap scared out of me. I thought it was $779.00, in which case I'd have to be spending $779.00 today.

Are they being intentionally misleading on the pricing? They put the easy pay right next to the item in red, and price in barely noticable yellow? Doesn't really make sense. but I'm happy I don't have to drop any money.

I see one of those, or an sg in my future. I think they're beautiful.

I used to have one, and a T-Bird. Neither was a neck diver. The LP truly has a piano-like tome. Wish I still had it.

I don't think so...I noticed the full price before I saw the 'two payments of' bit. That's just me, tho.

What black hardware? The pics I see show chrome bits.
