Hey Wilser, Ahtur;
Thrilled for you to see things coming along!
Loving all the details!
The trimmed hipshot buttons look great. They give a subtle art deco vibe, ala D'Aquisto jazzers.
Also glad to see that awesome f board found a worthy home.![]()
Hey Wilser, Can you expound upon the idea and theory of the graduating fret size? Very interesting and a cool build!
Great to see your work again.
Joe
Actually the idea was not mine, J. Dahlman, a friend of Ahtur's which I finally met at one of the NoVA GTGs showed me his 9 string I think it was Stambaugh that had medium and smaller frets from the 12th fret or something like that. Ahtur wanted the same thing, and while I was getting ready to fret the fingerboard I looked at my three tubes of fretwire and went "hmmm". that's about it. Just seemed logical and should make playability, action and setup much better.
I need more!
Sorry, I meant to ask if there were any updates

How tall are you??? I think it may fit me well,due to my small size (I'm 6'5",265lbs.).
So,PM me,and I'll give you my shipping address). BTW,I have had a 7-string before (K.Smith Melvin Davis Model).
