Gigging Musicians: Cabinet Choice

I am not gigging much these days, but my setup is a MarkBass LMII (6-sh lbs) with one or two Bergantino AE112's (~32 lbs each).
If you spend the cash, a modern high-end 115 with a mid driver will be equivalent volume-wise to your 410.
What is the difference between a modern high-end 115 and say an Ampeg classic SVT cab? The Ampegs are constructed well with heavy duty void free polar plywood, baffling etc. Is it the difference in drivers? Unfortunately I doubt I will ever be able to afford even a small high end cab but I'm curious what sets them apart.
I gig and session fairly frequently.
I have a GK Neo 410 and while it's light, it's still a bit awkward and kind of overkill for most of the things I do.
I have my Mesa Subway 1x12 and 1x15 cabinets, and take one or both according on what the needs of the job at hand are.

I use a audiokinesis Hathor 1203 for smaller gis. And add an AK thunderchild 112 for larger gigs

Eden EX410SC4. Weighs about 60lbs, and I put 4" casters on it that add about 10lbs. With my Pf350 and always a direct out.

It's a 1x15" with an ElectroVoice 15B speaker and shelf port. They're custom made by following blueprints from EV.
EV commercially produced their own similar cab called the EV B115M.
They also made a 2x15" with a 6" mid called EV B215M which I have and sometimes gig with when I want to make a visual impression on stage. I don't use it much because it's 117 lbs.

You can directly substitute the EV15L speaker for the B version and gain some higher frequencies for dual use as either a bass cabinet or guitar cabinet, but you lose half of your power handling (from 400w down to 200w per speaker).

I use a Line 6 combo amp or Ampeg combo amp. Each has a line out that goes into the mixer. This reduces the weight. I use my Seismic 2X10 cab and whatever head I happen to like at the time in rehearsal...I play jazz, though.
I carry either a 1-12 that weighs about 35# for BG gigs and a 1-10 combo that weighs 20# for DB gigs. If I need to get real loud (rare unless outdoors) I can bring a second cab.
Schroeder 1210L. Under 40lbs. 700watts RMS, 4ohm. It's my only cab. I gig it for everything from huge festival stages to little coffee shops.
8/10" or 4/12".Ampeg or Mesa Cabs or Heads. Full size SUV is my ride..
Two Aguilar SL112 (25# each). Replaced my 100+ pound Ampeg 410HLF. Back and ears are both very happy.
Ampeg 410HE 90# or so I think. Lives in the truck. Beat to crap. Always works.
