Yeah it's a tricky thing to call. It's also interesting to note that "sociopath" is another one of those catch-all titles that really doesn't mean one absolute thing in particular, but rather a whole batch of things. It's easy to think "serial killer/etc" when you hear it, but it's more complicated than that and can vary so much... there are some very successful people who can call themselves "sociopathic".
But yeah, getting back to my statement - in the case of this particular person, there was a very warped sense of right or wrong. Yours and mine may vary of course but we also have the ability to empathize or kind of "feel" things out in regard to others, she did not seem to have that ability at all. All interpersonal relationships were extremely black and white where she surrounded her self with either "accomplices" or "victims" with no in-between. Freaky stuff.

Good point. The lack of empathy and regard to other peoples feelings is a much better way to loosely define sociopathic behavior than not caring about right from wrong.

As per the OP: Women are a dime a dozen, so if this one's not showing any interest (and if she's making out in front of you with her bf, she's not into you) then move on to another. If the next one's not into you, then repeat process.

The tradition continues.

Mike Money, Nick the Bassist, Eric234, Namechanged, and now, Eric Albany.

(I'll argue to my dying day that Money was the best of them though. His posts contained real intelligence.)

I seriously hope eric starts incorporating chavs, his dad's car, vacuuming parrots, the phrase "pile drivingly heavy" and wearing slipknot masks into his posts.

For those trying to make some sense of Mr. Albany, you might want to Google Asperger's Syndrome. I'm not a clinician (my training is in experimental psychology) and am not making any diagnoses or judgments, but some of his posts seem to have AS written all over them. He also reminds me of many professors I have encountered over the years--book smart but awkward and deficient in social skills.

if this kid reminds you of a professor you've had then i have to question where you got your education.
