GK new MBP Powered Enclosures? (More info please!)

I find that unlikely. GK XLR outs are usually 1vrms, and powered cabs generally don't expect a signal much hotter than that.
It's possible though. Try it first

It's hard to have in-depth, detailed discussions in the heat of a NAMM Show, but what I gathered from the guys at GK was that the new combos would have a dedicated XLR output for use with the powered enclosures, and that this output was different in some ways than the DI out.
That being said, I am not certain that the DI wouldn't work.
I'll try to make contact with GK and clarify, if possible.

I was just told by Bob Gallien himself that when the MBP cabinets ship, they will also be shipping updated MB combos which have a special chain-out jack to drive the new powered cabs. Okay, we kinda knew that...
But get this! GK will also modify - at no cost! - any existing MB combo to include this jack for owners who purchase an MBP powered enclosure. 
Actually, this deserves a few more a couple of maybe a 
or two , and a rockin' ending!

Shame that it takes a specialized XLR output to run these cabinets; my 1001RB II is a bit jealous (not to mention other bass preamps)...

It's early in the life cycle yet. If there's enough call for a way to drive those cabs with any preamp, then the spec eventually will find its way to us. It can't involve much more than connector pin count, connector pinout, balanced or single-ended signal, and signal level. All standard stuff we routinely run into.

I agree, so here it is.
I own the MB200 and the MB500 and they are the best-sounding amps I've found for use with my Acme Low B-1 and my two Acme Flatwounds. The MB500 provides plenty of power for the two Flatwounds at the small-to-medium-sized gigs where I've used it so far, but the Flatwounds are almost as inefficient as the Acme Low-B series and I have a strong bias in favor of plenty of headroom. The MB800 is exactly what I've been waiting for.
Any idea on the proposed delivery date, Tom?

Anyone interested in a MB500/Aguilar GS112 stack once the MBP 115 ships?
I doubt this as then they wouldn't have any matching cabs for the MB Series Heads, and they've just released a new head so it would make even less sense to discontinue them.

Just a guess but ...
I want my DI to be pre-EQ and unaffected by my Master Volume. I would want my powered cab to be affected by EQ AND Master Volume. I would guess that most *normal* bass pramps would drive those cabs just fine.
If I can figger that out, I'm pretty sure RAG could while he was sleeping
.hmm... a GK powered cab and Avalon U5 - a working stiff's Berg IP ?
I'm actually more jazzed on the MB-Fusion. I simply have to try one of those out...

Beyond seriously cool, if you ask me!! What other companies in today's day and age, go that far? You probably could name some, but not need more than a handful of fingers to count them with. Kudos GK!
