I'd agree with that. In my (very) limited tests so far, I actually prefer it relatively subtle. Input at about 1/3, output at unity. We'll see how it is in my mix, since this will be my "fuzz" pedal, but I'm expecting good things. I'll be giving in a good run through at volume here in a few hours. Before then, what exactly does the Hi-Cut switch do? I couldn't really tell any difference except one setting (middle I think) made my cab hiss a bit. Again, I'll test at volume and see if I can hear a difference, but I typically don't like tons of treble, so will probably want it "off", whichever setting that is.IMO, it can be used as a subtle overdrive or a nearly clean boost.
