It's always cool to see 1969 El Camino.
Just got to a gig and this here Rolls Royce is out front.
68 to 72 shared the same body style, but 68 was the only year of that generation to have the reverse lights in the rear bumper versus in the tailgate.
I was going by the turn indicator on the front fender. 68 had a larger, rectangular one, lower down. This one definitely looks to be in the higher 69 location. Also, the bumper lenses are red, which also is an indication of 69.
I don't doubt it's a 69, based on the side marker being high & small.
The rear side marker looks out of place and I don't know why GM put it there when the taillight is visible from the side as well as the rear of the car.
My 68 does not have rear side markers and I think the car looks better without them.

Here is a pretty cool one. My only beef is with the edge of the rims sticking out further than the tires. The front end looks a bit goody too.
I found a few cool cars on yesterday's walk…you'll have to help me with make and model hehe

I've never liked the billet grilles with the horizontal lines. Looks too generic to me.
Interesting. Almost the same front end as on that coupe. Somehow this does not look goofy. I think it's that the headlights on this one don't seem all bug-eyed. Recessed a bit more. It just doesn't work on the flatter front end of the '65/'66.
