Code 55 blue..... the same color my 68 SS396 ElCamino was from the factory.
I don't believe it is the original color on this one though Mike, the Super Sport is painted the same color as the car normally chrome.

Here's my Jag, 400 HP supercharged XJR model. Supposed to be my daily driver for the summer but it requires premium fuel so I'm keeping it in storage this summer and driving my boring 3.9 V6 naturally aspirated Buick. Plus it seems every other time I drive it something else fails or glitches, lol.

Since we're talking about Jag's, here is my brief (less than 2 year) fling. I'm really glad to have done it. Not an XKE, but an XK, another truly beautiful car, and a blast to drive.
That car tried to kill me, and had a way too intimate relationship with my wallet. Finally she had to go.
But she did have room in her trunk for my bass.

What struck me about this one was the color, don’t know that I have ever seen a yellow E Type Jag before!
I rented a sky blue convertible version of this car from Rent-A-Wreck in L.A. in the mid '80s to haul stuff to the new apartment.
