Don't have one of these in my area. I think I could really go for that.
Good Split pea = greatest soup on planet earth.
closest one to NY or Pittsburgh for that matter is Chicago..its just not fair that the west coast just dosent like to share. im surprised theyre that far eastwith as typically they have a pretty healthy menu, although i saw that the souplantation Chili that they serve in Cali as low fat, in Chicago has been altered to "50% more meat Chili". heaven forbid the midwest dosent eat something comprised of less than 50% mammal.
the split pea is amazing for a chain, even more amazing since i havent been to souplantation in over a decade and 10x more amazing since i live in Pittsburgh and its impossible to find split pea or ny meal that dosent involve Sausage, peppers a fried egg or a 1/2lb of butter.

Dude, We have a sweet tomatoes in KC. It's pretty awesome, but a little expensive for me, IMO. Best Buffet Bang for you Buck for me is Swagat Indian. Super delicious and for 9 bucks, well worth it.
