I have a source audio eq2 which is awesome, but expensive and very complex, and a Behringer bass eq pedal, which is noisy and cheap, and long ago I had a Boss. a lot of the fancier pedals like the whirlwind and Empress are really expensive for an eq. but one suggestion i have, especially for less experienced players, is a Zoom Multistomp MS-60b+ pedal. its super quiet, it has a graphic eq like the Boss, a general parametric EQ, 2 special parametrics for bass frequencies and higher frequencies and you can run up to 6 FX at the same time.I have been playing bass for 35 years and I am experimenting with using it as an EQ from my upright bass. its totally quiet and very flexible and pretty easy to use. then it does all this other stuff too. I got it for $99 on amazon and its really a sleeper
