Good cheap practice amp?

So I'm gonna buy a used Modulus Q5 probably in the next month or so. It's gonna be my first bass so I don't have a bass amp. I just want a nice practice amp to play through. Don't care if it is used, probably preferred if it can get me something better actually. Suggestions?

Hi milktrey.

What is your budget?

Do you want a
headphone output?
an FX loop?
a 1/4" or XLR line out for recording?
stereo RCA inputs for CDs

By "practice" do you mean by yourself or with others? If others, will there be drums?

Do you play loud music (hard rock/metal)?

Is size, weight or portability a factor?

I have a Peavey Max 158 (15w x 8") that has eveything above except an FX loop and a record line out. Its small, light, relatively loud and has versatile sound. Its like $99 at GC. I use it to practice by myself and play along w/ CDs. It is not loud enough to play over drums.
