21497.90 in Canadian dollars... Ouch...
I checked at my local dealer for a Warwick Thumb bo 6 yesterday and they are like 2300 CAD a Custom shop Bo start at 5000 CAD and NT at 7000 CAD, add to that the price of your option you can get a 10 000 CAD bass in no time.
Well not that bad considering a new EBMM bongo 4 is 2300 CAD too and an MIA Fender is around 1800$
Definitely falls under the "wouldn't buy it even if I could" umbrella for me. $21500 in Canadian dollars...no...just no. Nothing against Warwick and/or other high-end basses, these companies are free to charge what they want, but that goes way beyond my comfort zone of what I'd even consider shelling out for a bass. 
If I can make a comparison, apparently if one is looking to buy a house in Vancouver, British Columbia right now, they are looking at a minimum of $1.5 million Canadian. I have absolutely no desire to live in that rat race to start with (it has the second-worst, if not worst, gridlock in North America, for one thing), but even if I thought Vancouver was my dream destination to live, and even if I had $100 million in the bank, I wouldn't buy or build a house there just on principle.

I remember visiting Indianapolis a few years back (after the 08 crash). I asked what what one of those shacks would go for in downtown Indy; someone said "5-10K". I responded and told them that a shack like that in Vancouver would sell for (at the time) 750 000CAN easily. they thought I was lying and being a jerk. now it would go for double.
BTW-a new fender elite goes for $2500+ CAN easily-that's a four string.
Yeah, I meant to mention that in my original post - for the $1.5 million that a person would be shelling out for a house in Vancouver, they wouldn't necessarily be even getting something they could move into right away, but instead a fixer-upper, and I might even be being charitable in using that term; some of 'em are outright crack shacks...

For coverage in the US, the specialist's name is John Barron or John Miller; can't remember which exactly.
I understand Atlas Fang was personally trained by both Henry Juszkiewicz and Ed Roman on how to respond to criticisms of your product line. My understanding was Mr. Roman dubbed Atlas "a true natural" at it.

This is just another bass made of nice wood. I used to be excited when I was new to it, now it is hohum.
The only thing excites me is playing a bass - I am over staring at pretty pieces of wood.

I love playing and have been doing so for over thirty years but I have yet to get tired of looking at and playing fine, handcrafted basses.
I get tired of it - staring is lost time.
Plus, I don't want handcrafted - I want CNC cut basses; humans screw things up and are best left out of the process.
I'm pretty sure they will use CNC to make those custom shop instrument, I think the point is you can have whatever wood or finish, want LED ? yeah sure, want different pickup and electronic ? why not ... While the German Pro is factory made without any option.
Specifically? "Big Country" by Bela Fleck and the Flecktones (especially the call and response section in the middle, with the quotation of "Continuum" at the end).

Hahaha! Well, I'm glad you got it licked!! I don't know anyone who sits around staring at basses, much less me. I'm the busiest person I know and I still have time to play and enjoy finely crafted basses and guitars. You are free to like and think CNC is superior. We'll have to agree to disagree. I prefer a bit of uniqueness.
